Our client is a massage therapist and experiencing acne from wearing masks all day with clients.

Here she is pictured after receiving a Chemical Peel to help relieve her acne; three weeks post peel.

Getting your skin back to a healthy state requires patience and time. Normally it takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks to see a massive improvement.

Types of chemical peels used:

🌟 Salicylic Peel: is a beta hydroxy acid. It’s well-known for reducing acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping pores clear. Salicylic acid comes from the bark of Willow trees.

🌟 TCA Peel: Trichioroacetic peels are a type of chemical peel used to treat a wide range of skin concerns including signs of aging, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and scarring. It is a relative of vinegar (acetic acid.) When TCA is applied to the skin, it causes the top layers of cells to dry up and peel off over a period of several days to one week.

🌟 Citric Acid Peel: Citric acid peels have been shown to perform better than the commonly used glycolic acid peels and provide an added safety margin. Alpha-hydroxy acids have the ability to strip away the stratum corneum thus improving acne and acne prone skin.

🌟 Mandelic Acid: is great for super-sensitive skin. It has a larger molecular structure than other acids, such as glycolic and salicylic, so it does not penetrate as deeply. Made from almonds it reduces acne, brightens and exfoliates skin.

Peels are customized to the degree of clients skin tolerance and blended to create the results needed.
